Insurance

When first joining NESS, the following basic insurance cover is provided automatically without the need for you to supply medical evidence:

• 2 units of Death insurance at a cost of $2.40 per week; and
• 2 units of TSC at a cost of $1.25 per week if you are aged 21 or more; or 1.6 units of TSC at a cost of $1.00 per week if you are aged 20 or less.

Members can apply for additional cover at any time.

 

NESS offers up to $5m of Death and Terminal Illness cover until the age of 70 and up to $25,000 per month of temporary and voluntary long-term salary continuance insurance to help protect you and your dependents against financial hardship if you die or become disabled.
